Hill runs this arvo at Yarra Bay
No swim, it was a dogs breakfast out there, windy and choppy, not what i felt like battling today.
15 full hill runs and half hill runs
felt like i had more in the tank....
Happy with legs coming along. Running is ripping them up a bit. Also stoked as I haven't done squats properly since my back op. Lunges, step ups and sprints have been their main poison.
Farken tough session. If forgotten how hard they were. It's been a couple of years since I'd trained there at Wanda. We did a few of the 'small' hills. Then the valley, then the biggest hill and then some flat runs. Legs were going spastic. I'm tin-fruited now. Could possibly fall asleep at daughters dance concert this arvo. Lol
Hill sprints/run and swim today. Fuck it was hot.
Wore my heart rate monitor and used that for recovery.
Once it was back at 130bpm I went again. First five hills no rest which is good
Nah, just want to see how hard/easy/sustainable it is. I like mixing it up with my food & exercise, so ill try this for a few months. I loved my proats and big sandwiches/wraps so I'm missing them a little.
Have been cooking extra meat with dinner for the next day & boiling sweet or normal potatoes as well. Breakfast of bacon & eggs is pretty fucken good. Last night was dads bday and everyone was smashing pasta and pizza, while I had the steak & Veges. I could live on that pretty easy, but when the wife and daughter got ice cream for dessert, that almost crushed my soul.
