Nice work mate. I'm a bit jelly - I wish I could fit a cage at my place.

what's with the tv, though? Catching up on mash repeats between sets?

careful no one whacks the tv with a wayward bar....

The tv is for my gf riding on the bike.

The room looks smaller on picture you have about 1.5m between the cage and the walls on each side and about 2.5 to the front.
Its enough to do all the things i do, i dont clean and jerk or anything like that.

The flooring was a 25mm rubber flat from bunnings.
The carpet topping was a cheapo flat carpet to hide the rubber.
I dont know what the 2 rubber squares are made off.

Oh ok. With those posters on the wall I was hoping you were going to say the tv would endlessly loop Pumping Iron and Blood and Guts. :)

What size are the mats? Which section did you find them in bunnings? I might check them out next time I'm there.

Why did you go for the rubber mats rather than the gym tiles offered by companies like gym direct?

They're basically the same thing except cheaper, I thought? Visit, compare material and thickness.

the matting was cheaper, and this way i get the rubber padding under neath with a nice carpet finish.

If it was in the shed then I would of just had rubber but for the extra 50 bucks covering it with carpet was a good touch.

It was in the section where they sold welcome mats, and carpets.

Cheers. I'm not happy with my current mats so i'll take a look next time i'm there.
