    Powerlifting Chains

I got a whole lot of chain via ebay from a marine section- it was anchor chain. About 28kg of stainless steel chain for $90 delivered. Very happy with that. Chain is great for overloading the top of the lift. It is similar to bands, but not the same. I do a lot of chain work with deadlift and bench.

This thread is not only about you or your articles. What do you mean I appear a lot more confident on forums as long as my words arent cited? Why does being cited by you equate to courage or confidence? More confident compared with what? I actually don't think many people are interested in the...

who is going to read this? I reckon there would be no more than 5 people in the world who could be bothered.

I think you are confusing things. Without having read the material you are referring to I can tell you accreditation goes both ways. In Australia for example I understand that the ASC has said it will only recognise the national body that is affiliated with the international body recognised by...

There you go on your moral highhorse again. They will be quoted regardless of what they want. Yes, yes I can see how that is not going behind their backs. Very transparent, highly ethical. You should be working for a major news reporter- something like current affair or today tonight. Go...

Why is that a smart ass comment? I honestly don't understand where you are coming from with this. You say you didnt go behind anyones' back- but you posted comments from facebook conversations without even informing people you were doing it. What more could you do? How about not quoting them?

A conversation I have at the gym is public. A comment to a person's post on facebook is public. Can you then quote them? Yes. Should you quote them? Unclear. The point is you saying you did not go behind anyones' back makes no sense when you resort to this line that anything public can be used...

So- how can you say you never went behind anyones' back when some of the people didn't even know you were doing this and don't know you????

I am not trying to humiliate you. You have just contradicted yourself. You say you never went behind anyones' back. You now say you used comments by people you do not know. Did you ask for permission from any one of them? If not, how could you possibly maintain that you did not go behind their...

You obviously prepared stuff quoting me behind my back. You did the same with other members of PA. So explain to me how it is that you have done "nothing behind peoples' backs"? Didnt this all start because you informed me- on this forum- that you had quoted me. And when I mentioned that you had...

I didnt say people were working with you. I meant that the way you presented information had lead people to assume that the people you had quoted were aware of your article. The legal position that you don't require permission is pretty poor- decency, ethics and respect typically exceed what is...

I didn't want to add to this- HOWEVER- I was shown some of the emails sent to some of the PA officials over the weekend. I have to say I am extremely annoyed and it comes across as 'muck-raking'. Does Matt M know your article aims to present stuff about him as well? What were you trying to...

    Geared lifting

THere is a skill component to equipped lifting and this can be developed at any stage. I also think that equipment can be effectively worked into training to help build strength in both raw and equipped. I had a conversation with a Russian caoch in Moscow last year and he said this as well- do...

With the DB templates- they were ok- but not as good as the original 37+37+32. for me personally- the prep programs I developed are the best I have ever done- but thay may simply be because I individualised them for my own needs. I ran prep 3 into the raw worlds in russia and my lifts have...

yeah- Talmant and I had a disagreement about the intensity. I stated you should run comp maxes so long as they are recent or a fair estimation- Talmant argued you should bring the numbers down to reflect maxes you could hit during training (I think he said what you can hit any day?). The problem...
