Its always good to have a new female member join. Whom just wants to get stronger and fitter.
When i said these are the numbers u might be lifting. Michelle said no way.
Its a common occurrence and nothing new with females trying out weight lifting for the first time.

A shy girl entered PTC 6 weeks ago. Stephanie Nolevski had never done any weighlifting whatsoever. Mostly cardio and classes.
She just wanted to lose weight.
She started with 8kg KB squats/5kg Dumbell benches and 20kg Deadlifts.
Her diet was fixed and we explained to her the importance of strength training in converting her from skinny fat to strong
I'm curious what brought her to PTC though. If someone is female, shy, only did cardio/classes and want to lose weight... you don't exactly go googling for "Places that play heavy metal that'll make me squat 3x a week".
Sure the results are very predictable/expected, but the psychology of that initial contact intrigues me. Unless a friend/relative who's already a member dragged her along without much consent

Correct mr wingnut. Her friend andrew mentioned it to her and she looked up the gym and was willing to give it a try. She was pretty intimidated at first 2 weeks finding her feet and seeing the other girls already established doing good numbers.
Mind u i have had 3 girls in the last month whom had no referrals whatsoever and just came on board wanting a change.
I think the winds of change are coming for the better.
