PTC Perth - Whats happening?

joe, lower (lumbar) back rounding is not advisable.

This is the reason he didn't try 190kg.

The goal is now to strengthen Daves lower back, and get him tight in position to accept more load.

Here is Mike's 200kg squat.

Just purchased a set of timing gates so we now have the ability to test athletes run times at multiple splits.

This is very important for our sporting athletes to be able to baseline their performance and monitor their progress as their training progresses at PTC.

Would PTC Perth consider opening in the mornings sometime next year? I work at just about all the times that PTC is currently open, so won't be able to come over and check it out at the moment unless work situation changes.

What an excellent night tonight, so many athletes in training hard and motivating each other.

A group doing the comp. on the weekend did their openers, and I can confidently say there will be multiple squats over 200kg, from PTC novices.

If your not busy Saturday evening from 4pm, come down to Malaga and watch the novice comp. There will be a bbq and I hear theres a coffee van coming too.

One new member tonight, Baxter. Watched him squats 240kg for reps and bench 200 for reps. We will likely hold some seminars with Nathan for our members.

Nathan, if you dont already know if preparing for the Arnolds, then plans to marry the prowler and drop some kilos.
