Thanks PTC. I was initially looking at the open levels which are the geared lifters and thought "I've got one heck of a long way " But then found the Raw levels, which is what I prefer.

Doing a bit of theory I figured I need 50-60kg to gain in each lift in about 2 years. A hard task, but with smart planning and solid nutrition I believe it'd do-able. Plus I haven't missed a goal yet and don't plan on starting soon!

Cheers,

-Mitch.

Hi all,
Nothing like being a Newb on a BB site... I've been a regular on bodybuilding.com for a while, saw a reference to here and thought I'd join up as well.

(can never have to many fitness / bodybuilding sites you're a member of)

Anyway a little about me:
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Occupation: Windows System Engineer
Current Weight: 88.7kg
Current Bodyfat: 21.7% (Caliper) 23.6% (Scale)
Goal: Drop bodyfat to between 12 - 15%, increase strength and lean muscle mass, Be able to do 40kg Kettlebell thrusters for 10 reps.

That's pretty much all for now, so look forward to becoming a regular here as well.

Cheers.

Mitch, have you thought about entering the CAPO Nationals in August, I have over 20 lifters competing in the raw section, it will be well worth a trip, and you'll do pretty well.

Cheers nOObs, gareer and Markos.

Markos, i post on ns.com under the username "stealth getz"

The gloved one, as we like to call you at PTC lol, welcome big fella, and dont tell anyone here you wear gloves when you bench, they might not understand lol

Markos, I was absolutely kicking myself when I saw those dates. I've had a holiday scheduled then since the start of the year, and it'll be my first in 5 years!

Out of curiosity, when does the registration close? I may be able to organise a little "side trip" if I can get in in time.

-Mitch.

Nevermind, found it Markos. Closes in 12 days. I'll try and get some things organised and try to be in the area around that time, because I won't be far off Melbourne. Oh and I don't know who our state rep is, but s/he shouldn't be hard to find. I'll head to the Power Pit during the week. At the very least I'll have to come by as a spectator and introduce myself, it'd be rude not to!

Cheers,

-Mitch.

Hi and welcome.

Hi everyone recently joined up better say gday to everyone

A little about myself, so far this year i set myself a goal to get back into a healthy weight range after being overweight for majority of my life and 6months down the track i have made it losing 30kg

Now ive recently started weights and want to tone my body up because while i look rather skinny these days my jelly belly just isnt cutting it lol!

Im gonna do some reading and make a few posts later on for some advice / help after i sift through the forums to make sure i dont ask questions that have already been answered

Cheers
