I think your on to something here. Im a newbie and since i have added SLDL's into my workouts my squats have improved heaps. I think its mainly because now when i squat my hamstrings and glutes are more engaged to before i started doing SLDL's.

I'm not going to bother arguing but it isn't just Louie Simmons that suggests most people have a weak posterior chain.
You'll find plenty of past/current posters on here whose lifts and knowledge is 100x greater than both ours combined who would agree that SLDL/RDL are imperative for the beginner lifter.
