I agree with the hard work part. Lyle is very accessible there, and I am sure would answer any question put to him. He is a nice change to some of the brotard mentality out there.

Markos advocates many programs, i dont see him advocating this as the be all and end all of 1RM programs just a simple beginners program that will work increasing your 1RM and helping you get bigger and stronger at the same time.

I am saying that progress on any program will help you get stronger, but THIS program is geared towards hypertophy, not strength / 1RM gains.

Beginners as such should not even worry about 1RM's imo, they should concentrate on building a solid base, which is something this program WILL do for them.

But the author has tied this in with achieving certain 1RM standards, and this program is not the fastest path to achieving those goals.

Sounds like a polite way of saying "We don't want to listen to you until we establish if you are bigger or stronger than us" lol.

I for one don't have a problem with disagreement. If you look earlier in the thread, you'll see me asking questions of Markos.

However, it helps to know where a person is coming from when they're disagreeing. There's "no u r wrong!!!1!" and then there's experience and/or education.

And there's also the fact that if you want to start a new topic, it's better to start a new thread, rather than hijack the current thread. Otherwise people click on threads and find they're not what they thought they were about, and because they can never just look at what they're interested in, get pissed off and leave the forum.

And knowing something about each-other makes things more friendly. This is a discussion forum, not Halo online.
