I have always found oly DBs awkward to use due to the size of the plates, unless you are loading up a tonne of 5kgs which I only have 4 of. These are the spinlocks I have, maxes out at 38kgs each at the moment, will be grabbing a couple more 5kg and smaller plates next pay
Lockjaw collars make the resting on thighs easy, along with I found them 100x safer in terms of plates not slipping. Swear I should have at least a broken toe or worse before I bought the lockjaws
Tidied up my home gym and slowly working to get my fitness back after much time eating pies and sleeping poorly (mostly due to now 14 month old)... found my shoulder is hurting with even my pitifully weak squats so its kettlebell UDLs up to 64kg and 70kg safety bar squats
At 6'1" I can 'just' overhead press inside the rack... easily outside, plenty of clearance for just about anyone.
Would love just one more set of 3x3 inch J Hooks.. but they seem hard to come by.
A few additions i'd like... better storage, fixed DBs , even hex.. at least to 30kg.. use the iron masters for bench etc. Enough space to push a sled would be great ... ive got a park over the back fence but ... grass while ok for pulling doesnt seem great for pushing.
