Training for size AND strength

1. Plenty of novices started training with me as their source for information
2. Eliminating fluff doesnt make it the best
3. Many great lifters travel hours to train
4. I'm sure he's not the only kid getting his meals prepared
5. All his friends are in the same situation
6. No, he has to go to school for 35 hours, train at soccer for 4 hours a week, play 3 hours of game time per week and 1 hour of basketball a week, as well as work 4-6 hours a week.

Sure he doesnt get it as tough as some, but he chooses to never go out drinking, he chooses to not waste his time on a play station, he chooses to squat everyday, he chooses to drink that milk.

Even after you point out that he gets good advice from me, and others read this, go through the journals and see how many train like him, you know how he trains.

I'd say his biggest advantage is the gym. I'm available to everyone at anytime, PTC isnt. Still, he's in there every day busting his ass. He doesnt HAVE to be.

I do see your point Nick, but you make as much effort as Max. Others could to. Making an effort is an advantage we all should have.

point taken though.

Thanks for the compliment on PTC, glad you like it lol

Nick is known to exaggerate, Max's bed is 26 paces from the rear entrance of the gym, not 20.

You can be sure PTC went and walked it to be 100% too...

If I had the PTC 26 steps from my bed I would train more then once day too, its too expensive to go casually that frequently /excuse

How many here squat heavy, workout brutally hard 3 times a week include some sort of cardio for heart and lung health plus do some sort of hard laboring as a job?

i have my own (admittedly far less well equipped) gym 25 paces (i counted) from my bed... ive done alright but havent made the progress max has coz i just dont have his mental toughness/consistency/tenacity. rather than make excuses for it i just use his progress as motivation because i know the only thing between where i am and where he is is effort.

Chuck in Uni and 3 jobs Nick and I think you have that covered.

Squatting 150kg and for twenty rep's is a wonderful achievment even more so if you don't spend that time between workouts sitting on a couch eating peanuts and watching the midday movies.

As someone once said - I'll leave specialization to the insects.

Nick loves soapies and eats olives while watching them.

His favourite treats are Olive muffins.

Nicks last car was Olive colour.

Nick has vowed to call his first daughter Olive

His favourite cartoon character is Olive from Popeye.

He loves girls with olive skin

He only eats tuna in Olive Oil
