ProRaw......its official

This is just getting better and better hey.

Do you have an idea of what venue you might use for the next comp if PTC is out?

It'll be on the oval. Lifting on grass is heaps easier and adds kilos to your total. Try it some time.

I have a very strong Tasmanian joining and an even stronger Queenslander.

The hydraulic squat racks are on the way.

Were going to need them.

brilliant work PTC- you have built an impressive list in such a short time. By next year this will be bigger than Raw Unity.

Daniel and Steve would be icing.

I hear that Ben Cove was asked to change the name of his Fed by PA.

Funny to see PA promoting a Pro Raw bench comp lol

Imitation is the best form of flattery

Oh it really doesnt bother me at all strong enough, I'm not wired that way.

I know House of Pain took the NFL to court and beat them over them using House of Pain in reference to a Grid Iron field, big bucks.

I have registered ProRaw, way back in October 2010.

I just think its odd that they would contact Ben and ask him to change the name of his Powerlifting Adelaide fed, then doing something so blatantly obvious.

Just another case of them thinking they are everything powerlifting lol

Surely even you can now see why they are very much disliked all around the world.

I guess ProRaw shook them up a bit, even just a little.

Wait till Steve and Daniel join.

He might not even be at PA then.

He might just want to compete against GJ, OM, DP, WH etc, plus one more mystery inquirer who I dont know the identity of.

All 4 named above can squat and dead over 300kg raw and bench 200kg raw. All over 110kg bodyweight.

NJ will also do that next outing.

Apparently mystery man can as well.

You mentioned youtube hits in the strongman thread, I've been sending out the ProRaw youtube links to everyone I know and they are impressed already.

With lifters like that on board I know I'd be able to get a bunch of spectators to come (if I can't convince them to compete) and I'm sure others could do the same.

Be good for advertising, and you'd make a decent amount from the door fee.

I already can't wait for the next comp, not just to lift but to see these other guys lift.

Unfortunate order of words on the PA calendar. It's a raw bench comp between "PA" vs "INBA Pro" lifters.

Actually- no it probably pays homage to Pro Raw. Its "pro" in a similar sense- it is a cash prize competition. I have no doubt that people all over Oz now are looking to Pro Raw with interest. It has huge appeal.
