Well done mate!!!

Remember lifting in a comp is a whole new ball game to gym lifts. You should be very proud of your efforts.

Keep it up.

Your a champ Scott, well done.

Mate, your the National Record Holder, your DEFINITELY in for Nats lol

They are fantastic lifts for a first comp. They are your new PB's, everything else is a gym lift, your lifts today were scrutinized by 3 judges and passed.

By having the balls to compete you have given numbers for others to chase, and they'll in turn give you numbers to chase, and everyone gets stronger because of it.

Cant wait to meet you in August big fella.

Once again, fantastic lifting

More prep today.

Dave paused 100kg on the bench.

Nick paused 140kg easily.

Max, Alen and Daryl all close gripped 110kg, thats a bench PB for Max and Daryl.

Nina deadlifted 110kg, Annie and Dimi made 125kg

Nina and Dimi paused 65kg, Annie made 60kg in the BP.

Okay, I'm going to have a crack at guessing how all the boys may go on the weekend. These lifts will be based on my observations leading in.

Nathan, 17, 100kg class, 100/80/190 - 370kg
Daryl, 17, 67.5kg class, 160/105/180 - 445kg
Max, 18, 75kg class, 175/100/215 - 490kg
Kaspar, 18, 100kg class, 160/120/210 - 490kg

Nico, 20, 82.5kg class, 160/125/230 - 515kg
Jayden, 20, 125kg class, 170/135/235 - 540kg

Dim , 26, 75kg class, 135/75/195 - 405kg
Alen , 24, 90kg class, 175/115/230 - 520kg
Dave , 25, 100kg class, 175/105/225 - 505kg
Kelly, 26, 82.5kg class, 175/150/252.5 - 577.5kg
Nick , 25, 110kg class, 230/142.5/270 - 642.5kg

James, 61, 110kg class, 150kg/85/200 - 435kg

Vicki , 38, 60kg class, 75/50/110 - 235kg
Nina , 45, 60kg class, 90/67.5/120 - 277.5kg
Annie , 29, 75kg class, 95/60/130 - 285kg
Dimi, 23, 82.5kg class, 115/65/135 - 315kg

It will be interesting to look back and see how close the lifters get to these. The Glossbrenner formula that CAPO and the WPC use is similar to Wilks, although it takes age into account, which is only fair. It only does so for lifters over the age of 40 though.

Good luck to your boys markos, I'm sure they don't need it though :p

I'm training my arse out for august now. I'll hopng for 110-160-220 = 490

The same as 2 of your teenagers :)

Okay, I got some wrong lol

I didnt think that PPP would be so effective half way through.

Dim will open with 135kg in the squat, he made it easy tonight. Alen got 175kg easily too, so thats wrong, Kasper will beat most of his, Max is benching more each session, Dave will probably squat 180kg, Nick made the easiest 220kg squat I've seen, then pulled 250kg.

Weight tonight before tomorrow mornings weigh in

Max 74.8kg
Daryl 66kg
Nina 59.6kg
Annie 72.4kg
Dave 99.9kg
James 108kg
Dim 71kg
Dimi 83kg........only one left with work to do

Good luck to all PTC lifters this weekend! - look forward to the comp write up and pics!

Just got home.

Plenty of National Records broken and set, more details later.

Best Lifter Women - Nina 1st, Dimi 3rd, Annie 4th, Vicki 5th
Best Teenage lifter - Max 2nd, Daryl 3rd, Kaspar 4th, Nathan 5th
Best Junior Lifter - Nico 1st, Jayden 2nd
Best Open lifter - Kelly 1st, Nick 2nd

There were 32 lifters so I'm pretty happy with the results, 11 of the 16 PTC lifters set or broke a National Record, 6 lifters set or broke an unofficial World Record or 4, they will be officialy set in August at the National Titles.

We got 3 out 4 best lifter trophies, the guys and girls were awesome.

Nick deadlifted 275kg without a belt, but got 3 red lights for a slight jerk, I'll post the video later, it was a mighty pull
