Seriously, ring Wayne from abc.
Tell him you want to same bar as me, it's custom knurled, and it's porn. I'm getting another soon.

another vote for the ABC black power bar.
don't think ill ever need to buy another barbell, great investment if you ask me.
also the knurling is great, perfect.

How much does the BOP220 set u back now? Last time I asked for a quote was a couple years ago when I couldn't afford it. About $650 back then I think.

If u don't mind me asking, how much extra was the knurl Sticky?

We have two pendlay nexgen bars, love them.
Bushing or bearing bars?

Bushing class.

How did you find gymcare to deal with Alvin?

I contacted ABC, they directed me to gymcare.

Gymcare orders bulk from ABC, they tagged my order onto a bulk one which was nice of them, this saved me shipping costs (a lot of money).

Ask for Rob, email address rob at gymcare.com.au
Great to deal with, no problems at all.

If you want to take a look at it, feel free to come over and give it a go :)

I'm going to order the ABC powerbar with fine knurling. The blackness got it over the line. plus I'm supporting Australian businesses.

Thanks for all your help.

so i ask for fine knurling that is deep? lol

i dont want it to rip my hands apart. i suppose i could put sh*t loads of chalk on it.

maybe there is a middle ground. ill ask.

LOL, mine is the middle ground haz.
The ABC power bars that I have used have been more of "studs" than knurling. The fine knurling ABC bars (at most FF and healthworks) are not grippy enough.

What I did is make the knurl to a type of Ivanko bar. Its the standard knurl, but make deeper. Its not bad on your hands, but its defiantly very grippy.

My bar is a copy of the bars that were at CAPO Nationals.

I really like the deep knurling or 'studs' as sticky calls it. I'm the biggest girly man who ever lived and have no problems with it.

If you go thick and dont like you can always shave it down with a mill file. If you go light and want it thicker your screwed.

My 10c.

I emailed back to ask for the middle ground. the CAPO nationals one, if it was good enough for the nationals then it should be sweet.

thanks for all your help.
