Let's see if we could agree on what bodybuilding is and isn't

From my perspective, a bodybuilder is one who wants to develop muscle tissue mass to the greatest degree possible, and maintain a very low percentage of fat as possible for the specific purpose of displaying that development.

Competitive bb's by necessity, must be aware of presenting themselves in a symmetric manner, and also pay attention to details like tanning, shaving and of course posing, right?

These details will allow the musculature to be presented in the most dramatic manner possible, agree?

But the bottom line is one must have the muscle tissue to display.

Now, in order to display these muscles the major muscle groups must be developed as fully as possible.

When they are it wil be pretty impressive.

As one continues to progress more attention will have to be given to lagging body parts in order to present a symmetrical physique.

Even so one still has to place the emphasis on developing muscle through hard intensive training with specialized training through breif periods of time.

Nothing mystical.
