the atmosphere in a gym thats serious, with all the people watching, drives you to lift harder and better.haha it would be good training properly but it looks scary having to do squats etc in front of a lot of people
Don't forget your type of gym attracts different clients. I have a few clients who I know if I pushed them hard like I think they should train I would lose them. It sucks but I need the money so I do what I can get them to do.
I have a few really good ones who I can push and funnily enough those ones always see the results. Sadly a lot of PT's think they need to keep everyone at the moderate level and kind of give up pushing their clients or they think they are "rehab" specialists and that all their clients need "rehab" when what they really need is proper exercises and more hardwork.
That and the issue of certification. I was under the impression that you simply cant be giving dietary advice to people without being certified. The same for training them due to problems with professional indemnity.
