Nice High Road.

Someone remind me to put up at least body weight this week, can't go too hard as i am peaking and cutting at the same time :D

I think for 2015 comp, those who also clean weight should get 5% score bonus.

We don't want to discourage those who don't or can't clean, but we can reward those who do because doing both is both harder and more impressive. Thoughts?

Scott, hopefully 2-3kg of more muscle this year will see you do 100kg+.

ok, just testing the idea.

Maybe I will just mention also cleaned weight in list.

We can all contribute to ideas, and come to a decision if people are interested in 2015 comp.

I would have no problem with someone cleaning a weight, putting it behind neck and then lifting. It would take a lot of energy.

Dreadlift, how much more do you get behind neck from front. I remember one guy who got 20kg in jerk (140kg and 160kg).

2015 comp shit. Maybe just do a couple shorter comps through 2014 first. Each quarter or something. People lose interest quickly in such long comps.

Could even do a comp for a different overhead lift every couple months to keep things fresh and interesting. There are enough oh variations to do it.

ok, that is probably a good idea.

Maybe do one, first, military press, then push press, then anything goes (just get weight up).

You are the second guy who said too long.

We can always just update forum list for all lifts for those who want to focus on one lift.

As for 2014, already arranged with BN, so probably best to leave it before asking if it interested in other comps. I would like to think there is some reward for strength feats.

For 2015, forum members should put down ideas, I will summarise them, and then we can vote on what format.

I don't think it's to long. The Burpee and KB challenge threads come back to life every couple of months, people see someone's score and it motivates them to have a crack.

100kg would be a nice. I use to think there was a limit on how much a person could press, push press etc, but after watching the shit Klokov does it has changed my outlook. The bloke has a 225kg push press!

The way I see it. Why bother posting vids until the last month. I plan on getting much stronger by then. Look at all the other year long comps. They all die in the ass.

I like 12 month format as well.

Most of strength athletes on forum have various comps to go in, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, strongman and crossfit.

I chose military press and push press as good supplementary exercises for above sports while providing an opportunity for a fun comp where lifters could do anytime during year in accordance to their time and priorities.

Bazz, I am going to leave all lifts in list to show who improved and so on. Also, there is the possibly of being injured at end of year, which could mean a lifter may miss the boat.

I can't wait to post, but recovery from collarbone still has me just pressing 5x50kg. but, I am on road back.

come on guys, when are some early lifts coming? I hope you are not all waiting for 'the winning lift'; before posting.

I suspect there are 10-15 guys easy that could post up a winning lift on here. I'm not sure what they are waiting.

I'm waiting to get stronger :/
