overhead press forum bests

Threw some push presses in at the end today to see how my knees held up. Did do 110 but knees not too great. Need some more time.

Well done Bazza, hopefully you will post 120kg+.

I am hoping that someone gets 140-150kg push press this year, albeit comp decided by Wilks score.

watch out for Brick, he may do this with false plates.

Think I have done 120 PP before but might be a bit off now. Sitting on the couch with ice packs on sore knees at the moment.

push press and military press comp starts tomorrow, I am hoping silverback will take lead and be first to post.

SB, please make sure form is good.

Push pressed 90@83.6 this morning, my push press is really only the last three inches of lockout due to leg power, but i REALLY struggle at that top position. Hopefully it will carry over to my equipped bench also :)

As long as you don't drop back under it then it is a push press otherwise it's a push jerk, is it still Video proof to be in the comp?

Also, provide info of bodyweight on day, as well as clip.

BTW, Oni is on the drift in the betting after pictures of his legs were posted.

Ever tried it? It's insane lol... I could have done 85kg when I tried, but 100kg just felt like a tonne. Funny how an extra 15kg has so much effect.

I remember when I first hit 2 wheels, thought it wasn't that bad so I'd go for 110, felt like I added another 100kg, every 2.5kg at the top end is a killer.

Well, suppose I'll get the comp started :)

115kg Military Press @ 108kg BW (damn Xmas)
