I need to work on chin ups and bench.

Squats are coming along okay just taking it easy until my mobility improves. its slowly improving. Have to avoid the temptation to try and go heavy

Knees are really good, best they've felt in years.

Sticking point is shoulder mobility and right ankle.

Funny enough, I think i'm not far off these lifts which sounded impossible to me when I first saw them . I'll be going for a 120-130 squat at PTC comp, 80-90 bench and 160-170+ deadlift. If I can nail all of those, i'm almost there
I missed this post, that's good work!

Have to say I disagree with the squat to deadlift ratio for the ranking of a "beginner". In my view all trainees should be encouraged to get their squat as close to their deadlift to avoid imbalance issues later on. At the most the deadlift target would be 20% greater than the squat.

I agree with 180kg being the beginner threshold, but contingent upon the squat being more like 150 to 160kg. Or you can be like a cross fitter and have a five plate deadlift, a three plate squat, zero plate bench and a whole bunch of misery within a couple of years.

Body types are going to be a big determinant in how close the squat and deadlift are.

Crossfitter with a 5 plate dead or 3 plate squat. Since when. Lol.

AJ Roberts and his 12 plate squat says hi

From what I gather, he started as a powerlifter and achieved a 1200lb equipped squat (I think that would be about 900lb if raw) weighing over 300lb. Very solid lifting indeed.

He's now doing crossfit to get smaller and weaker.
