Written some time ago, I cannot help but admire this fellows knowledge, this following diatribe explains a few things as to why many injuries happen over time.
The man for whom the so-called “Scott Curl” was named had unusually large arms, and he also had unusually long biceps muscles; and he...

Hi guys, looking at finally taking the plunge and starting a home gym. Just looking at powerlifting so lining up a bench, squat rack, bar and weights. Found a used 2009 Pendlay HD Nexgen bar (bearing not bushing) with 2x20kg and 2x10kg for $300 and was wondering what your opinions were on that...

Hello All
After a 20 year break, I recently started lifting again, following SL 5x5, using my uncles old bench press 'machine'. But 60kg is the max that i feel confident snatching up and over my head to start my squats. So its time for a Cage. I really want a power cage so that my son can also...

Among people I am most known as Nataliya Trukhina, which is my maiden name.
I was born in the Russian city of Chita 1’st of July 1991, and I am now living in Moscow.
I started training in the Gym when I was 14 years old and weighed only 37 kilos (81 lbs) - a very tiny girl.
However my training...

I need some help with a template now that I have pretty much exhausted regular progression where I add weight to the bar every session.
I won't post numbers because they're soft but my training generally looks like this.
Mon: Squat, OHP, lat pulldowns.
Tue: Bench, bent rows, bicep curls, tri...

I was messing with incline bench press yesterday, and I noticed I'm alot stronger with medium grip than wide grip.
I have small pecs (narrower shoulders) and large arms. So my triceps probably benefit more.
Also I've been hearing that you can get better "leverage" with a closer grip, and it's...

JUST SAY NO!
To Endurance running. It's hard on the body and the benefits can be had doing other activities that are non impactive, and or take less time, etc. Unless you're job or specific sport demands it (e.g., mil, etc) no reason to run for distance. Other than a tiny % of the population...
