Doesn't get any more moronic than that, the man has more respect for the gun than his own son.
No it's the fact that his moment of absolute fucking stupidity has cost his son's life. He took responsibility for that rather than saying wah wah guns etc. The mind boggles that he was that stupid to use the hand holding the firearm to fish for the case that went down the back of his shirt.

Statistically, shooting is one of the safest sports you can do. Can only speak from my personal experience, but safety is absolutely paramount above all else.
