[MartialArts] UFC Discussions

Barao vs mcdonald on tomorrow. Should be a decent card but I strongly dislike the majority of the uk crowd. As if spit on matt riddle / others.....
 
Woke up early enough to jsut see the 2nd round of the main event. Was actually a pretty good fight. Barao got rocked in the first round. People say that Mcdonalds TDD sucked, but while he did get taken down a few times, he got straight up again. Although he knew he was doomed the last time.

Glad TeHuna won, and Cud swanson, I think it was a pretty uneventful card though.


Can't wait for Mark Hunt next weekend though, fuck yea!
 
Yeah who would have thought John Fitch would have been cut, he has been around the top 10 in his weight class forever and almost always put on a good fight no matter who he is against...
 
Jon Fitch released from the UFC. Rated number 8 Welterweight in the world (MMAWeekly). Must be his choice you'd think. I love watching Fitch. Rogan described him once as "the ultimate grinder" ............ disappointing!

Remember years ago he got released due to the image rights fight with the UFC, then re-instated.

Apparently its a cash thing + they didnt think he'd ever get back to being a title contender + some fans thought he was boring (KFG didnt think so). All of that added up.

If fitch was cut im thinking Koschek might be next if he loses....
 
Fitch being cut is weird. He was pretty much always in the top 10, and pretty much always would had been. I did read it was a money thing. The guy didn't have a flashy highlight reel. I see him being back though in a few fights.



Also FUCK! I thought this weekend was the japanese card :(
Not hugely impressed with 157. I want to see Hunt and Wandy!

Rousey for another first round win, would love to see her win by something other than armbar, but then again when you have such an awesome armbar and oull it off from almost anywhere why change a winning formula.....
 
Fuck missed Koscheck getting knock out!

Saw the faber fight, that was domination.

Machida fight was pretty meh.

Ronda fight was actually pretty good.


But now bring on next weekend!!
