July Calf Challenge

6/7- Single leg raises x 20 x 5
7/7- ooops :)
8/7- Seated barbell calf raises 100kg x 10 x 15 x 15 x 15 x 13...

I'm out. Not doing them every day, too boring & I like to be able to walk normally from time to time. Not overly fussed about getting massive calves either :p

Good luck team.

Gonna have to pull the pin too (on training calves everyday), just not working for me.
My calves are smaller now than when I started!!!
Need to allow some recovery time.
Will still be in for results, but not training them everyday.

My 1/2 inch gain in 30 day arm challenge is almost up, and I will get my 1/2 inch, but was not by training them every day.

oh lads! You know you don't have to train them heavy every day? I alternate between one leg calf raises (bw only) and bb seated calf raises with heavier weight. The DOMS are gone, but it took 4 good days lol

one leg calf raises 5 x 20 x 2 - finito!

I can't see any changes yet but I'd thought I'd post anyways it's good motivation

I will sit in my room and cry umm no just change the way I train them it's only 1 month no great loss if there aren't any gains

At lest we are trying something different

Measured mine the other night at 37.5.... 2cm bigger than my first photo. Newbie gain much. ? I measured twice... Three times, four times, five times.... Same every time. Made the first measurement multiple times as well. And I didn't measure after a workout either so no pump.

Obviously don't expect them to continue at this rate, and will be over the moon if I get a total of 2.5cm by the end of the month...

Time will tell.

Easy night tonight just 5 x 20 bw raises

You probably measured it at the wrong spot to be honest, itd be almost impossible to get the exact same spot, who knows you probably measured it a smaller spot on day 1.

l tried to measure 10cm down from the bottom of my knee cap... Seems easy enough to get it pretty close.

oh plz mclovin

quite easy to measure wrong, i do it all the time lol. Apparently my calves have gone down an inch from my last measurement... yeah ok. Maybe its cause i don't train them everyday lol jks

I measure until I find the spot with the biggest reading and make sure it's straight. I'm not trying to cheat my measurements, I'm amazed myself. Both legs the same.
