Was chatting to a mate in Chicago via Skype yesterday who loves his NFL (and has the accent to prove it). He was saying that even in Chicago people are talking about Hayne & how well he's done.
What else he was saying is that the 49ers are hopeless and that once their season is gone ie can't make the playoffs, Hayne will get ALOT more game time, in a few different roles. He reckons they see a lot in him and will give him that big experience in the NFL in games that don't mean as much. Happens a lot with 1st year rookies apparently

All makes sense, once all hope of making finals is done, start preparing for the future and trying out new guys in different positions and getting game time in to potentials, if they perform great if not then nothing lost as far as the team goes but they know they wont look at keeping them on the roster the following year.

Saw this bus, with old mates pic on it, in Redferñ today! JARRED HHHHAAAYYYNNNEE as the commentators say

Hayne cut from 49ers. No surprise, you can't keep fumbling like that in the NFL,despite the Aussie reporters saying its ok because the team got the ball back.

It it may end up ok 49ers are a shambles and hopefully another team will give him a go. His success in the pre season hurt him, they would have never expected him to be an instant starer and he couldn't carry that form into the main season.

Would be surprised if another team don't pick him up or that the 49ers don't put him on the practice squad.

shame, hopefully another nfl club will give him another chance.

doubt whether he will ever be a NFL star though; hopefully he gets a regular game somewhere in this extremely tough and talented sporting league.

Still a great achiever; first aussie NFL running player.

They say the reason they usually cut players on a Saturday is so they can usually sneak through waivers and sign them to the practise squad...

Could see him going to Seattle

hahaha, with the injury to Bush again and the way 49ers are travelling they could very put him back on the roster less the 24hrs after cutting him, hahaha

doubtful, but plausible....

Looks like Tomsula is more interested in keeping his coaching job by appearing to look like winning games instead of blooding some potential new talent and looking to next year......

You can't really blame him. When given multiple chances hayne showed he needed more time on the practice squad. Next year is his shot.
