Wanted to post some positive feedback about Ben at Bulk Nutrients. Just ordered 5kg of WPC and it shipped to the wrong address. That happens. One of his staff wrote 22 instead of 23 as the street number so it came all the way to the neighbours place only to go return-to-sender back to Hobart.

I rang him and he instantly sent out another bag and threw in a free shaker and some free samples.

Nice guy with great customer service focus.

Cheers,
Mike

The problem is, a lot of the products that can be bought off the shelf in Australia are illegal to import into Australia. Take all Gaspari Nutrition products for example.

That's true, but I'm personally not really interested in those products (unless it's protein, I hear that's often unable to imported).
I'm anti-caffeine these days, so Gaspari (and most others unfortunately!) don't have much that interests me. To be honest I've never heard you couldn't import them, but then again I've never looked into it.

Very good point though, people need to do their research before importing things.
There's threads on other forums which show what can and cant be imported, or you can download a fact sheet from the TGA (I think) and painstakingly ctrl+f your way through ingredients.

What did you order?

2xOlympian Labs DIM
Nutrex Volu-Gro (WMS + Creatine)
Green Tea extract tablets
500g Glutamine
1 basically free sample of purple wrath :p
No free fridge magnet :(

All up, delivered, it came to less than the price of the DIM if I'd bought in Aus.
I'm not recommending these products as I haven't used most before, but for the price I could easily justify trying them out. The aussie dollar was doing pretty well at the time which was helped the cheapness.

Fridge magnet might have been confiscated. My dear old mum tried to send me some for Aus. day but the post off ice wouldn`t let her.

How on earth does someone keep track of the protein quality of these various Australian bulk sellers. How would I know if a bag stamped WPI is indeed that and not WPC or something else entirely?

That's where the saying: "it's who you know that counts" applies. I'd just add two words to that saying by saying: "and trust"!

Fadi.

+1 for mrsupplement.com.au next day delivery is true i also got a free t shirt and samples

(i ordered the product at 10 at night )

Yeah ebay is pretty good.
Ive also been getting my supplements from Protein King - www.proteinking.com.au
They are a pretty big online store based in Sydney.
Very cheap and always get my order fast no worries

Fitness Central.

You c an now buy 1kg bags of whey and mix up the flavour. You buy the unflavoured protein and the flavours comes in little sealed bag.

I got 5kg or WPI (5 x 1 bags) and 5 flavours. Banana, Choc, Peanut Choc, Strawberry & Cream & Mochacino...all are very nice.

Tip - If you buy these go to supermarket and get the large snap lock bags. Put the flavour satchel and the whey inside, seal it properly and mix around for a few mins so the flavour blends in with they whey.
You can buy WPC, WPI or HWPI.

Cheers.

I got my wpc from bulknutrients
the shipping was fast and the taste is delicious (chocolate)even mixed with water,I have to stop myself from having more
I also found this website ( real nutrition.com.au)but I havent tried it yet, seems legit, has anyone tried it ?

Never tried or heard of realnutrition, but their website hurts my eyes and brain! :p
They have an ad banner thing saying they were featured in some magazine...I assume if they actually were then that means they are legit? Dunno...

Just wanted to also throw my 2c in for bulknutrients.
I haven't received my order yet, BUT I did receive a text message answering a question in the comments of my order!
Only time will tell if they sent a fridge magnet...but a personal text message was very impressive!
The price was the best I could find for aus/nz protein also.

protein direct, come in 2.5kg bags, I have banana atm, tastes like those banana musk type lollies you can get.

I just found this site/forum after trying to find a cheaper way of buying protein apart from going for the big name producers which charge you a fortune. Theres heaps of good online sites that seem to be selling the same product at around half the price of a name brand. My biggest concern with splurging a few 100 bucks is, why should i trust these fairly small businesses with accurately displaying on their nutritional content sheet what their selling.

Couldn't these guys be buying poor quality protein and marketing it to us as high quality and simply changing the nutritional content sheet? Who is insuring these products are quality assured?

I know im being sceptical but the bodybuilding supplement industry's full of scams of some sort.

If any of the guys in here have some good information or if some of the mods know the owners and can give some of their sites some credibility so its easier to pick between the many sites out there.

From what ive found though, in terms of price (obviously cant comment on quality) proteindirect.com.au myopure.com.au fitnesscentral.com.au have got the cheapest options respectively for what im after. (if any guys have bought from either of them give us a heads up on how they rate em).

cheers

I've been using Mr Suppliment for a while now and their delivey is the best I've ever seen. From the east coast to the west coast next day.

Also used Suppliment Direct last week to order Double T and the postage on that was awesome too.

Also go local to get a few things from Health Kick stores too.

Thats commercialism for you..

You feel safe with a global image because it reprasents trust honesty blah blah..

From that logic mcdonalds must be the best quality hamburger i can get! and that little mum and pop home kitchen cafe must be shit house food.

Just a thought
