Powerlifting and vegetarians?

If bill pearl only deadlifted 140kg (in his prime), if he was trying, i would be shocked. I mean look at his build.

In any case, the last link shows a vegan deadlifting 330kg.

There's some American wrestler who's a vegan. Apparently being vegetarian and being strong aren't mutually exclusive.

In saying that, back in the day when I used to deal with the fitness of people other than myself, I noticed that vegan clients put on strength very slowly compared to their non-vegan counterparts.

That might be because vegans statistically low testosterone and are generally pussies than the fact hat they are vegan by itself

I was thinking, cows have lots of lean mass, they eat grass.

grass contains amino acids, or body contains other amino acids....

can we make out own protein without eating protein?

Do you have any idea how much grass a cow has to eat? By all means fit yourself with a few extra stomachs in order to eat grass but youd be at the paddock ALL DAY

yer your proteins are much more rich in aminos. I eat green grass and I moo all day, I'm a cow, moo, I'm a cow, moo.
