Thanks for digging that up. I'm simply fearful of things moving too quickly. And having forum members strongly advise that I should be doing this and that didn't help me decipher for myself what it was that I actually wanted. When I put all that aside and just did what felt right, all was good

I'm more into self loathing then self love not a classical narcissist although I will say narcissism is a loose term used by hack shrinks nowadays to define any persons who have such controlled and regulated behavior due to their own neurosis, that they have no ability to respond to the needs of others.
Using terms so broadly is a very lazy way to clinically diagnose personality disorders, I'm not totally devoid of empathy so lack a classic trait there. Although I appreciate your insight, given your co-dependency issues I'm not surprised you'd seek out a borderline narcissist to give you advice.
