Thanks a lot n00bs! i ask a lot of these questions because I'm quite new to weightlifting.

That helps a lot. I'll do the program for at least 6 months and see how I go, will be doing a lot of endurance/interval running so hope this doesn't cut my recovery too much.

For PTC, is it reasonable to make those lifts at a bw of 60-64kg?

No where near as impressive, but I have an 18yo, with 2-3 months training that can 107.5-85-140. He now weighs 69kg. He trains hard, but eats noodles. Lots.
If he can eat right Id have a guess that by years end he will be close to the 140-100-180 at around the same weight.

n00bs, I was thinking of lactic threshold type training when I said endurance, not long slow distance, my bad.

Dave, 2 minutes high intensity sprints/runs, followed by a minute rest, repeated 6 times.

PTC, I was referring to the bench 100kg, squat 140kg and deadlift 180kg on the front page. I remember on one of the newsletters your son Max came close to these at around 60-65kg, and shorty's lifts at 67kg is just amazing!

Max has been able to squat double bodyweight since he weighed 55kg.

The squat and deadlift were very easy at under 70kg, the bench took longer because he didnt train it at first. He actually put 100kg overhead long before he benched it. He still puts more overhead than he can bench.

Daryl is 65kg, squat 140, bench 115, deadlift 170kg
Blake at 63kg, squat 120, bench 90, deadlift 190kg, in competition
Ghosty at 60kg, squat 140, bench 92.5, deadlift 166kg
Max at 74kg, squat 175,bench 110, deadlift 215kg

I hope these few examples of lightweights inspire you

Yes mate, everyone has to start somewhere. Okay, say you pressed 20kg today, that is 20kg more than yesterday, well done, keep going.

Just do more weight or reps in every session and you'll be getting stronger by definition. Simple, not easy.

I'd love to make a joke about how he must have used some awesome supps just to stir your Markos...but his progress is too impressive to take away from it :p
