Theres a vid on the net of Joe Frazier not being able to overhead press 72 odd kgs. My point is i dont think you can arbitrarily decide within a narrow parameter what is athletic and whats not.
I think ole Sparty preferred these coz he had obviously focused on them over his lifting life. Clean and Press is good IF you Clean properly. Sparty had an horrendous Clean, so proof there are flaws to this criteria.

just because you are good at 1 aspect of athletic performance,doesnt mean it governs all. For example Joe Frazier couldnt swim,but could bob weave and throw punches for 15 rounds at a fast clip. Seriously good athlete. I think probably the Decathalon or Crossfit would determine the closest to all round performance. I think if you can powerlift to a decent extent as well as retain the athleticism to do other sports is another indicator. I think overall on this board that fulla Taurus would of been the best here. Rugby player.
