To be honest, i think questioning is good for all, especially those who desire to be trainers of considerable expertise. Knowing important differences helps given them an edge when i comes to tailoring a program for individuals.

A good coach wil identify mental make up, their unique and different hormone status, and so on.

How will anyone learn if we cannot identify major differences between the PED user and those who do not.

Strong may be strong, but knowing how they got there is also important, albeit it is often a taboo subject for understandable reasons.

While on gear u allow for faster recovery between workouts. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know u just increase volume and intensity.

IF dan is on gear be smart about the way u absorb the info and program accordingly.Decrease the volume and increase rest days if your natty.

I'm more wanting to go to his seminar to learn the technical aspects of lifting.

Such as the great sumo he has and how he programs around it. What assistance order of exercises. What exercise he deems usefull etc. Hence the relevance of steroids does not come into play here.

Think this threads getting a bit off topic. Dan is a phenominal lifter, one of the best pound for pound lifters atm, been watching him for a while now. Correct me if i'm wrong but he has the current 100kg Raw Total World Record doesn't he? I wouldn't miss an information session with him no matter the background.

Can one of the moderators do their job and clean this thread up? You have a steriod section for all this talk yet 6 out of 7 pages is on steroid use. Groar if you didn't like the thread then delete it. Anytime GPC is mentioned it automatically gets changed to steroid talk. Why cannot we discuss the possibility of seeing one of the best performances in powerlifting seen on Australian soil?

Some of the shit in this thread is fucking dumb and to some extent I agree with you. But it is a forum you can't plug your shit and then stop people debating whatever they want.

If you're only going to take advice from guys who never went to the dark side, then you'll have a fucking short list of guys to listen to (no Rip, no Wendler, no Simmons.... the list goes on)

Yeah steroids are a big hush and we are only allowed to discuss them in a predefined zone instead of talking about them like any other normal every day activity

Wrong. Any meaningful discourse on this sacred cow of topics (even in predefined zones) invariably results in abuse being hurled, and when any progress is made, the thread is closed.

Something similar is being rammed through parliament right now - minority interests are effectively enabling the passage of legislation that gags the views of the majority, well beyond the guillotine that has been wielded previously.

Ok, so graham deleted many posts, including 7 of mine, after someone from gpc, who does not even contribute to this forum, complained.

I think that was a bad decision, and reflects the reality that this is not a fair dinkum forum.

Au revoir.

Nothing is going to stop me writing about drugs. There are plenty of mainstream forums to write for.
