Personal choice I guess.
My webber is set up on the back verandah, and I prefer using it to the stove.
Can't really see how it is a pain, takes no longer to light than turning on a stove and waiting for the pan to heat up.
Chuck in 4 fire lighters, chuck coals on top and light, go away and do something else, in about 30-40 minutes it's ready to cook.
Takes no effort at all IMO.
Food tastes twice as good, and makes no mess in the kitchen to clean up or smell inside the house from cooking meat.
Use it at least a few times a week.
I think once you have the system set up and know how to use it and light it with plenty of time in advance it's no pain in the arse at all. Took a bit of experimenting to get the feel for it when we first got it, but all good now
