The best way to improve the heart, lung and circulation has to be an activity that involves resistance, like its the muscles that move the body and improves the system, it's not the other way around.
if the body is trying to recover, its the muscles that move the body that are recovering.
if we spend too much time doing "cardio" the muscles never get a chance to recover, I think we've got arse backwards, we spend way too much time focusing on trying to be fit.
