I've heard of lots of horror stories, but one of my school friends got a bolt ons done and has never been happier... apparently

Not cosmetic, but i know someone who went to Thailand for dental work, about 40k worth of work done in AUS cost him about 10 - 15k there and he got a holiday for 3 weeks.....was worried at the start but said the work was hygenic and great quality.

x2 with this... My sister, her husbands and her husbands family have all been to thailand for dental work and said exactly the same thing...

To those who have mentioned having friends / knowing people - if you are able to share the name of any doctors / hospitals that would be super helpful!

Not really cosmetic but this is the place recommended to me by family/inlaws for dental work....

Dental Bangkok and Dentist Bangkok by Dental Clinic Ploenchit Road.

Yep, had a few mates go there for dental work. Way cheaper and a good holiday too.

I've had two consults here in Melbourne, and the pricing is outrageous. I'm now liaising with two companies that offer escorted trips over and package deals and I think I'm gonna do it. I'm researching the two private hospitals and the three possible surgeons that I may wind up with - so far, its looking pretty good. Two of them have the same qualifications and membership to international peak bodies / associations than the melbourne doctors.

Fuck the tour companies, just arrange it yourself through a reputable surgeon in Thailand. All their Dr's are american trained and their private hospitals shit on anything here in the public system.

I went for a holiday when my bro-inlaw had a full on rhinoplasty. They cut his nose in half, ground the bone, pretty serious surgery and it was fucking brilliant.

Not tight with the pain meds like they are here either.

Hot tip, phillipines is cheaper and same level of care if you go to the right surgeon.

Mother inlaw is a theatre nurse here in Oz and she got hers done over there
