[Rugby] Rugby League & Rugby Union discussions.

The two most problematic issues in that game were the dog kick from roberts being "missed" and the penalty given to Oats for his mid air collision. Which was NOT a penalty any other day of the week. Only a penalty if the other player isnt playing at the ball. And in any case oats basically jumped up and on top of him lol. The same thing happened a few weeks ago and was ruled as a simple play on.

Both convenient misses led to tries.

Broncs had a few wrong calls go against them too.

Broncs make too many mistakes and bleed too many points to be a threat. I've thought that for weeks.

Nah, you can't interfere with a bloke in the air without contesting the Ball, particularly if it puts him in a dangerous position which it did.

Titans seemed to have a tactic of interfering with the defender in the air. It happened numerous times.


Then Roberts got penalized wrongly for standing his ground after that short kick off. Titans got possession and a restart on the Broncs tryline after that.
 
Canberra have a huge Front Row. Boyd tried to put a shot on Fiffta but missed. This could be interesting.

Crap. Oats jumped over him. The Titan player was contesting the ball.
Anyhow, the refs will be sacked for poor performance. Bennet will be praying even harder next week.

He wasn't contesting the Ball you hater. He didn't leave the ground and pushed Oates in the arse while Oats was inflight.

I just watched the replay. No pushing. In fact the titan had his back to oats when oats leaves the ground. And hes playing at the ball. Oats jumped over him. At that point there is no responsibility on the titan.

Again bullshit penalty against Raiders for not contesting the ball. It's crap. Refs have lost the plot.
