"Police strike force has been launched to investigate reports of NRL match fixing

.......... It’s understood the matches under investigation are Manly v Souths in round 16 and Manly v Parramatta in round 24 of last year. The Sea Eagles lost both of those games.
Also under investigation is the Parramatta v Manly game from round seven of this season.
Kieran Foran, his brother Liam and Eddie Hayson become embroiled in the controversy after a bet of $18,000 was placed on Parramatta to beat Manly by five points or more just moments before the clash at Brookvale Oval."

At the worst possible moment these sort of things occur - every year. This time first week of Finals.

Seems like it, but if it's true then bring the fukkers down.
 
If Manly players were playing poorly to fix matches, you'd be pissed if you were Geoff Toovey. Kunt got sacked due to poor performances last year didn't he.

Yep..poor khunt. Didnt deserve it. Barrett has done no better. Battered with injuries though, same as last year.
