I cant imagine how fulfilling your wifes job is working with spinal cord injuries. Great episode of 7:30.

Very fulfilling, but stressful job. Thanks for watching

What do people think of the 7 weeks for that tackle? If he wasnt injured so badly would it still been 7 weeks? Should the injury come into it?

For me - yes I do think it was a "bad" tackle but nothing more than you see every single weekend and prob nearly every game of the nrl - 2 weeks for me.

Should be very proud btw taurus; - your wife is doing fantastic work.

As for the 7 week ban. The kid probably needed the time off, but now he is essentially officially blamed for breaking mckinnons neck. How could you put that on a 22 year old. IMO the NRL have let him down and put the game before the players well being.

Have to agree - it was reported that he wouldnt even watch the replys of the tackle - I agree that it would be good for him to take a break and step back for abit - but it was simply a freak accident - as I mentioned we see these tackles every week in the NRL - some not even being put on report - I think the NRL have really not gone about this the right way - they have put to much emotion into the decision...

Hopefully the Storm are looking after the kid in everyway possible....
