ProRaw......its official

lol....you mean Apollo gym, I didnt know it went by another name.

Most of those guys dont compete though. I know Chucky did the States and not the Nats, and Martyn did the bench only with Sean at the Nats.

Steve lifts there as well I think.

They have the best equipment, but talking to a few CAPO lifters and officials, theyre not really interested in competing.

I'm guessing they know about ProRaw, havent heard anything.

Lots of confusion as to who is the S&C of the Storm, I dont want to get involoved

Yea just checked the Shire speed and strength Facebook page and it was Geroge who pulled 350 there and also pulled 355 at Elite the other week in dead comp.

OPO was another very small Australian federation affiliated with WPC (in addition to CAPO). It seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet, but I don't what the story is there.

Markos try getting hold of Ron Birch...I think he headed up OPO also there was an OPO comp in Sept last yeard hosted by John Seru in Menai

ron birch is capo international contact for the awpc rons still heads up opo ,they had their nats in melbourne 4/12/10 rons contact details are on capo web site under who are we .opo still run comps ,us gold coasters compeat with them mainly at balina although 2 of our lifters compeated with them in melbourne 4/12 .rons allways approachable and is 100per cent for the lifter, some of you may remember ron from capo nats he broke w/r dead lift ,and he and his wife mary did a stint at reffereeing

I think by the day of the comp, I'll have close to 60 lifters.

I plan to have them lift in flights according to weight class.

I wont know exactly till the day.

It looks like I'll have to use the function rooms at the club, MUCH larger, bar, AC etc
