Hey guys,
Just thought some of you may like abit of an update of whats going on at the club!
Of course as most of you know Matt and Blake have been prepin for the CAPO Nationals this weekend - both have been training hard and pushing eachother to train harder each and every week! - Iam very pleased to see both get stronger over the last few months and improve tec and also there training methods...
Blake has been running the PPP program and I have been helping him with supplement work - He seems to have worked out some sticking points which is pleasing to see and we have both discussed early in the week the best way to peak for this weekend in regards to cutting weight and bringing himself back up so he is 100% - pretty excited to hear what Blake does this weekend!
Matty has been doing Sheiko as discussed before - I had him on a variation of 29/37 - added board and speed work which has helped his bench a fair bit I feel and also form on bench has improved - there has only been small changes to Matts form with all exercises that he has played around with and I think it will show at nats that he is now a better lifter for those small changes. The last 5 weeks has been a sheiko comp program - we have not changed anything really - only some small things i.e added tricep and shoulder work.
As I said above excited to see what these guys do on the weekend! - then looking forward to them resting up and maybe getting in some suits and prepin for the deady comp in dec.
