Hope Levrone is putting together a documentary video - showing his Mr.O lead up, changes made, training, diet etc - would be extremely interesting....

thats insane
That's expected when you've taken PEDs before and are returning to them again. 51 is a bit confusing if you take it and project it onto someone else who is at a similar age. Kevin at 51 doing what he's doing (as far as PEDs) are concerned, would be the equivalent to not only someone half his age, but few males half his age. That's putting it into context when it comes to the subject of endocrinology.

Promoting the myth that 'roids guarantee an Olympia physique is reckless, considering that its the ignorant and inexperienced (e.g. teens) are the ones who are seduced by such "stretched facts".

Yes, they are all "on", making it an even playing field.

But that is not why they look like they do. Yes, 'roids definitely help, as do all the other drugs they use, but they are not the foundation of why they can gain such massive mass. The secret to success? Pure hard work and extreme self discipline.

That's why you get a huge number of juiced gym rats wandering around with distorted or "swoll but shitty" physiques. You've seen them. Big delts or arms but no upper torso thickness. Abs but no legs. Wide back but its all fat and flab.

There are thousands of gym rats taking the same cycles, or sometimes much more, than the pros and having nothing remarkable to show for it.

For example, Oni was "on", with up to, in his words, 2g per week of test. But he was no Ronnie Coleman. And his strength had plateaued as well.

So maybe we should stop the sensationalising of juice use and focus on what they are really doing, training with brain frying intensity and following that up with a strict disciplined lifestyle.

He's on da juice:

But so is he:

'roids don't make champions, hard work does. However some still deny that simple fact, and insist on mixing half truth with some selective fairy tales all of their own, believing they're helping the young when all their words do is serve to confuse the already confused.

That's just what I said, so I'm confused after you said, in effect, that his results at 51 were due to drug use.

It's not the PEDs that's doing all the work. It's hard work, dedication and more work, plus the supps. Its the whole package.

If it were the roids, and/or past effects of roids, then every dumb gym kunce would look like Phil Heath. They don't. So its not the roids. Its what I said. To insinuate its all or mostly because of roid use, you are leading the dumb gym teenagers down a dark path.

I think the opposite, that it's the quality of drugs and genetics that make the average BB elite. To get to that level you need to know something about training. If you actually watch the pros train, they don't really have a structure and aren't that good at it. The quality and exotic drugs make up for unstructured training. The average gym rat on gear isn't going to be spending $50,000 a year on the quality stuff that the pros do.

No, genetics does.

Although, some need to work a lot harder than others to achieve the same outcome.

A lot of the 1% of the very good looking body builders are that way in spite of what they do, Arnold was known to be lazy, in terms of work ethic.
