Media Marketing "Healthy Foods" - The Myths Behind the Ads

Dafaq?! ... The chocolate dude is a nutritionist?

What brick said...

Its not just about knowing the research... You also have to go back and analyze the research to understand when studies have gone full retard... Something that max covered very well in tge threads here a while ago...

Ie just because a rat shows a response to something means fuck all to humans....

Nah that was the posters handle. He runs a consultancy on diet and nutrition now, don't think he was a formally trained nutritionist but fuck he knew his shit and had the research to back it plus was in epic shape for a guy that trained like twice a week I think it was.

Read some of his shit it's worth spending a few hours.

Will look him up... Always keen to hear from more experienced peeps.

Thanks Brick! I'll look into it.

Although, I was merely suggesting that journal articles are more reliable than what you hear on TV =).

I think I know enough. Although, this thread was started because of healthy food myths. It's great that you've contributed a lot to discussion. Keep it up man.

Healthy foods that are marketed are usually commercial scams.

How many times have you read "cholesterol free" on corn oil gallons, when in fact corn oil doesn't even have cholesterol.
