The argument that you need a mum and a dad is pretty flawed since heaps of people only have 1 or the other. There's no reason this should make a difference in a same sex relationship.

I'm not sure how having "heaps" of single parents makes the argument is flawed.

They're not trying to emulate another gender, they identify as themselves being that gender.

I'm not a lefty nor gay and i support it.

I have a mate who's gay. Not your stereotypical camp type either. He said he wouldn't marry his partner as its a waste of time. Until it's recognized as legal and binding then there's no point just yet.
It's funny, my dad and mum went to a gay wedding in NZ last week. Dads God-daughter! He's old school but saw how happy she was (and how nervous the parents) were and as he said, "if they're happy, that's awesome".
I support it. It's not hurting anyone and its 2015, stop living in the dark ages.

I haven't voted as I'm not sure, heres why.

If homosexuality is your choice, I don't agree with gays getting married. If homosexuality is your genetic issue, then yes you should be allowed to marry. I don't think people should be penalised for a "disorder" they were born with or occurred through no fault of their own.

As for homosexuals wanting children once again I can see both sides as there are some shit heterosexual parents out there and perhaps some gay couples would make good parents.

As for gay sex, I've always said to gays I've known "its your arse not mine, you do with it what you chose". But its not something I want to see or be involved with.
