Apparently I had "6 years" off training, yet I'm still stronger than showdownsyndrome while weighing a lot less. Imagine if I added a protein shake, shit would take off!
Amazing what years of juicing can do for your muscle memory

you got to realise there are a few on here who think they are top shit because they lifted a whole lot of weight. they think they are superior because of this and that anyone else should shut their mouth and pay homage to their greatness.
fortunately most people on ausbb are pretty good people, including a lot of the stronger ones.
hard gainers xD
Sparty mate you missed a whole bunch of posts, maybe re-read the thread again. Time for me to go heat up my beef
Doesn't change the fact that there is no evidence it can benefit a varied omnivorous diet. Even so, that wasn't the argument I gave. What I said was if you simply ate beef, you'll easily hit your protein for the day and additional shakes would provide no benefit. Carnivore or not, even a paltry 500g of beef will give you 130g of protein - with the other misc foods bumping it up the rest of the way. If you need more then you can simply eat more beef, it's not like it's expensive, it's far tastier than any protein (try ribs or brisket) and contains the micronutrients you require
The thing is, both sides of the argument are valid
If getting your entire protein requirement from red meat doesn’t derive any performance enhancing benefit then why bother? Why not just eat the food you want?
