Safeties aren't a luxury, they are necessities.
I truly like and appreciate your statement here Adrian.I like watching the F1 Grand Prix, and doing so, one is always hearing as one is always reminded of the emphasis this thrilling sport of racing places on safety of its drivers. Safety features that ultimately find their way into our daily family vehicles.

So in a nutshell, for a sane and level headed sportsman, safety is not just paramount, but comes in as part and parcel of the main package itself. Without a built in safety mechanism of sort, a person, irrespective whether he be a sportsperson or otherwise, has no one but himself to blame for any unfortunate consequences arising due to some neglect of initially taking all possible precautions.

Throwing cautions to the wind is where the ego likes to live at times, an ego that sometimes manages a triumph under such attitude and circumstances.

And when all is said and done, with 100% focus on applying the element of safety, one can still meet his demise when his time on earth is up, as nothing can stand in the way of the inevitable.

Ignorance is the conceiver of hate, and an absence of retaliation is interpreted as a sign of weakness on the one hand, and a sign of triumph on the other..., an interpretation that can only take place in, and is strictly reserved for..., a fool's mind.

So wake up and stop being a fool, or else, grab a ticket and stand in line, where a que of haters, ever so ready to express (and expose) their own unique brand of foolishness, are ready to shake hands with you and lend you their support.
