Just spotted Pistachio's thread so thought I'd throw my current diet plan up there too for critique. I used Max's maintenance plus 15% guideline for calculating my target cals and also his 2.5g/kg for proteins and 0.85g/kg fats minimum too.
Here's how I calculated my target cals...
Ok, so here it is.
250g meat (any cut, provided its lean), or even 250g roo mince
250g chicken breast
185g tuna (sole mare)
6 eggs
40 almonds (raw or roasted, probably roasted :) )
200g carrot (or similar veggie)
200g green beans (or similar veggie)
250g potato
250g sweet potato

Does anybody else get tired and fatigued when on a bulking diet?
I'm on a 30 day bulk, on my 10th day so far.
5kg gained so far.
Problem is, I'm so tired all the time now and it's got to be from the excess calories being consumed.
I'm taking in about 2200 calories above maintenance daily...
currently bulking have gone from 77 to 79.5 in just over 2 weeks. have been using jack3d for 7 weeks now but have stopped as the tub has finished (and tolerance has been built). i never do any cardio and sometimes i get papilations if i climb up stairs and can get puffed out after a short time...

I have been on Starting Strength for a few months. Started with a pretty high BF%
Lifts are [3x5]:
Deadlift - 115kg
OH Press - 45kg
Squat - 100kg
Bench - 67.5kg
Power clean - 55kg (Still working on technique)
Body weight - 97kg
Body fat - 18-20% ??

Is there any chance somebody with the knowledge could recomend both diets and may even make them a sticky. Would really help somebody like myself starting out.
So I find I can put on the kilos pretty easily when I try. I'm talking 3-5 kilos a month... Yes, some of it is fat but for the most part its muscle. My problem is that when I get to my goal weight of around 82kgs, I find it incredibly hard to stick to a maintenance diet that doesn't either wear...
So I'll be flying into the country this month to stay for a year to study. I eat on a 4000 cal diet and normally eat a mass gainer shake for half that then beef, chicken, fish and eggs for the rest.
Obviously I've noticed that mass gainers are much more expensive on an island so I'm looking...
