How hard you workout has nothing to do with DOMS
I'm sure we've all had a lengthy layoff from working out and remember how severe the doms was the following few days days after your first workout back, even though you lifted much less with less intensity than before your layoff.
I still get DOMS in my calves and I train them regularly.
It's simple, not frequently enough, as in not often enough, as in not lifting weights often enough, as in not working the muscle often enoughFrequently enough in what terms? Strength training, hypertrophy, maintaining a healthy body, being an internet hero?
