it think your just going to have to accept that his lifts are way behind, do all you can to make sure he is a more competent lifter and plays better on the field.

I know im reallll late to this conversation and off topic, but after having a friend whos been to college, done the football thing and come out. Juicing is a MASSIVE part of american football, both professionally and collegiate. If your lifts arent big enough, you take performance enhancers, its just how they do it over there, its 'cheating' but thats just the way it is. Look at Brian Cushing, before/after his entry into college ball -

You gonna tell me thats all natural?

Jesse box squatted to our high box tonight (45cm) 170kg @ 64kg

Young Michael did 150kg @ 69kg

Max managed 220kg @ 78kg

A couple of new guys started tonight, a bouncer and a brother of an old client

Markos, how are you training with your wraps at the moment?
Do the boys do their working sets in them? Or do raw sets, then a few wraps sets?

I got mine off steve the other day. Im just not sure when/how to implement them into my training.

Sticky...the more time you spend in them the better so you get used to the feel of them and have opportunity to try different wrapping methods, to find which one suits you best.

Now that doesn't mean that you should do every set in wraps, I would aim to do your top sets in wraps and perhaps one before the top sets...

IMO it is VITAL that YOU learn how to wrap yourself... in comp conditions there is one person you know that will be available to wrap you at any time (that's you incase you're wondering :p)

Ronnie came in today, he hasnt been training much. He still managed a 157.5kg squat and 200kg deadlift.

Alen deadlifted 220kg really easily. It was easier than any opener he will be trying. Its the first time he pulled 220kg since the States in May.

Max first deadlifted 200kg and benched 100kg on November 25 2009.

Today he deadlifted 200kg x 5 and benched 100kg x 5. He had more in the bench, he was doing a strip set and started with 100kg.

He is slowly getting back into his training. He isnt doing a program, he needs lots of heavy volume. On Wednesday night he box squatted 220kg, SLDL 150kg x 10, High pulled 140kg x 3 and shrugged 207kg x 10.

He's going to compete at ProRawOne, but he wont be wearing a belt or knee wraps.

He also did one arm strict DB press with 35kg x 5. A few weeks ago his bodyweight had dropped to 74kg. It was 79kg today.

"He (Max) is slowly getting back into his training."

I haven't been staying current with this thread, did max stop training for some reason?

No, he never stopped, just freshened up after the 4 comps in 4 months tour lol

This was only his second deadlift session since Idaho.

I pretty much knew I was starting ProRaw when we got back, and I knew the date, so he's based his training cycle on that

We have 8 weeks to go

Max squatted 160kg x 3 tonight, slowly creeping back up

Alen benched 117.5kg x 3 on his PPP cycle

I'm not sure who is entering the CAPO Deadlift comp

Fat Dave got so fat I got concerned about his health.

He is benching on Monday and Friday, squatting Wednesday, deadlifting Saturday.

On Tuesday and Thursday he does circuits with Olympic lifts, some KB work, running up the grandstand with a vest.

He lacks the capacity to diet the weight off, so I'll have a crack at exercising it off.

Around 113kg at 5'8"

He can't walk properly currently, he waddles

He definitely can't run

His powercleans have dropped by 10kg

He is too slow

His powerlifts are up though
