How am i going?

yeah lucky bastard indeed...but didnt your hear everyone...Markos is building a PTC in Renmark South Australia....in my new shed!!! :P

Thanks PTC, i was looking at your website, i actually work 5 minutes away from you LOL, i might have to take you up on the offer.

I actually like to work legs but this damn knee sucks.

I have no doubt doing leg press does not help as a lot of pressure on the joint, when it recovers do PROPER squats make it easier on the knee?

Your probably squatting down, not back, rookie mistake

Have taken a week off (4 weeks on 1 week of normally) hoping it would help the knee, started practicing squats on my own weight also with a bar in the power rack, left knee is painful again after squatting and no weight.

Is there another way to build legs up without giving my knee trouble? Leg extensions don't give me any trouble just the press and squats

Go see a physio about it and ask for a squat form check while you're there.

Good luck.

Cheers,
Mike

Hey guys started with the squats, first week just the bar getting used to technique.

I am only doing 30KG-40KG on the squats 3 sets. Getting over a cold this week.

Is it normal in the beginning for the lower back to be a little sore after squats? Also are you meant to poke your bum out? I did see a few vids and read etc about squats, my stance is correct.
