sumo vs conventional again

to the OP: I had an SI joint injury but it was a muscular strain not a disc issue and I found while rehabbing that conventional deadlift did put a lot more stress on it than sumo so I learnt sumo. I was fine to squat also. (the physio said so also).

Doing some direct lower back work is a good idea also though.

Thanks man,
I did conventional deads for the first time on Friday and pulled up pretty tight, though it wasn't too sore...
I've started to some good mornings and lots more mobility work to try and help out
