Stuffed after training..

I'm stuffed after my first working set lol. I don't understand how people can only take 20 sec rest between sets if they are really pushing themselves. If I bench press 120x5 there is no way I could bench it again within a minute.

Deads and Squats are even worse - 2 min minimum before I can stand again haha.

I will be he first to admit my conditioning is bad, but even still 20 seconds is crazy talk lol.

BigJim, training at 85% of your 1RM and taking 1-2 minutes of rest does in no way indicate bad conditioning on your part Sir. You're doing what is normal considering the rep range and the percentage of your 1RM that you're using in your bench, i.e. 120kg x5. You're doing just fine, well done and all power to you BigMan.

We had this discussion in the gym last night. As one of the guys started to fall asleep on the floor at 930pm - a the end of his 3rd 3hr trainings session.


A few of the guys are running accumulative fatigue programming at the moment, and it really knocks you around from weeks 6-11.

Some of the guys are like zombies at the moment.
