This is what the NRL do though - a guy has half a good season and he is blown up to be a superstar - nek minute he is playing NSW Cup....lol....

Barba of course would be under a fair bit of stress, he really hasn't performed in acouple of seasons - he was purchased on name basis only and is a solid player at best that can have some sparks of great play...sometimes...
 
So mitch moses to play this weekend if he goes with an early plea for that tackle on that titan ****. Thoughts?

Clubs insist on playing him out of position. Play him at fullback, running out wide or returning kicks at a broken defensive line and he'll be able to use his footwork, which got him to where he is.

Why Brisbane tried to bulk him up or play him at five-eighth beats me. Seems that Cronulla wants to do the same.

It's both! Good genetics and he's using what he has! Plus he's putting in the time, effort and sacrifice that lots of 'genetically gifted' people rest their laurels on and don't make it past junior rep teams as they won't put in that extra effort

Def both for a guy like that.

Generally sadly you will find (no racist here haha) that the islander guys struggle when they get to senior footy because alot don't have great work ethic - but when you get a combo of both - watch out!

A friend and former teammate just signed with the crusaders. Here's his highlight reel from a couple of years ago. He makes the game look easy. He was the young gun coming up and making waves as I was winding down my playing days.
