Ptc Sydney - Whats been happenin

Chris - Did box squats and box jumps

Karina - Had her bodyfat tested and shes not doing too bad.. I have started her on a diet as she is due to go to hawaii soon. I will be taking pics of before and after soon.

Jack - Is just getting stronger every week.
He managed a 170kg deadlift today. With a little hitch. When he first came to PTC 6 weeks ago it was 150kg.. Not a huge jump but still an improvement.

Sean - Did squats and bench press.
He used to be able to do 90kg for a 1rm 4 weeks ago. Today he managed. 100kgx5.. He had weak triceps and it was holding back his bench.

been slack in updating..

Its week 9 of the program i have set out for some of the guys here and we decided to test out their 1rms to see where they were at.

- Sean before he joined PTC Syd 10 weeks ago was (90/90/130) 91kg BW. He couldnt squat much due to a knee reconstruction. So i started him off slow and easy.

Results after 9 weeks are 130/125/180 (94kg BW). And his knee doesnt show any signs of issues.

- Richard joined a bit after sean and was (90/110/140) (100kg BW).
His results now after 7 weeks are (110/130/175) (96kg BW). Once we get him fix his diet up he will make bigger improvements. Still very good.

more guys will be tested this week.

Ceffo,

Good work.

Some really solid gains being made by all. I love reading PTC threads. Everybody just gets strong, it really puts a smile on my face. Well done!

thanks jchen.. Imagine the smile on my face as their coach when i see them progress so fast :) Thi is what makes my job fun.

Most used to train at fitness first for 1-2 years prior without a clue. Give them a simple program to follow and a change of diet. Then put them on their way. The hunger in their eyes to get even stronger is something to see.

its bloody awesome seeing a coach take pride in watching his students grow. I might pop down one day to use your facilities

no worries buncey see u then..
Oli came in to learn to front squat and clean yesterday.. he needs a haircut badly

haha it would be good training properly but it looks scary having to do squats etc in front of a lot of people
